Welcome to Neurobehavior Services
Neurobehavior Services, Inc. (NSI) specializes in neuropsychological assessment and consultation for children and adults.
The unique expertise of a neuropsychologist is in the analysis of strengths and weaknesses across a child’s or adult’s functioning that is guided by an understanding of brain development and brain-behavior relationships.
The “data” that is compiled for an assessment extends far beyond test scores—it encompasses cognitive, behavioral, academic, social, and emotional domains. The information gathered includes past and current behaviors, developmental accomplishments, emotional tendencies, interpersonal and family relationships, and learning/performance issues—all of which help to inform the test results and vice versa.
For the neuropsychologist, the main goal of analysis is to identify the primary issue that underlies presenting problems, which then sets the stage for targeted interventions.
